What Is Homesteading?
Homesteading is a way of living where you aim to be as self-sufficient as possible, living more mindfully, simply and aware of your natural surroundings whether you live on a farm or in a built up city. This lifestyle includes growing your own food and preserving it at home. Scratch cooking and seasonal cooking. It can also involve making your own textiles, clothing, and other crafts for your household, family, and community.
